Hi! I’m Marti. Originally named Martha (the name is coming back around!), but nicknamed Marti.

I am married to Scotty Hwang. Boy from LA meets girl from PA. We have an 8 year old Golden Poodle, Penny, a 4 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. We dream of the day we’ll hold our 6 babies in Heaven. Being a momma is my greatest joy in life.

I have been fascinated with cameras and capturing life’s memories since elementary school when I got my hands on my Grandma’s Polaroid. Film is also a passion of mine. You would rarely see me in college without my Hi-8 camcorder.

In 2006, I spent a lot of time renting and teaching myself how to use professional DSLR’s. My business started in 2010 and has consisted of weddings, family portraits, events, overseas mission photography, and newborn/birth photography. Documenting my kid’s lives is my favorite thing!

Backpacking, being in nature, gardening, music, community, French press coffee, and time with family and friends help me to feel the most like me.
